I trade via Vedic Astrology. It's an actual system I follow and I take trades that are slow, safe, boring, mentally peaceful, and most importantly-hedged and with apt money management.
I'm a conservative trader. I don't enter trades unless astrological transits supports it. Even then, I trade only when the odds are clearly in favour. I don't trade every day. In fact, I sit out most of the time. Because markets don't need you to win daily. They need you to win correctly when it matters.
For me, trading is like playing a cricket test match. I'm not here for a thrill. I'm here to build something that is sustainable, consistent, and peaceful.
Thousands of opportunities exist in markets. I like calm trades, and when I am mentally free to execute it. Trading and life for that matter is all about mental clarity and focusing on one thing at a time! I also have a basic rule of avoiding trades after consecutive profits or losses.
For me, boring trades are actually exciting!
My profits or even losses for that matter doesn't affect me emotionally as my position size, max profit and max loss is something I pre-decide upfront and don't allow it to be controlled by the market. It is something I control as per my risk apetite and market rewards my trades and I take it humbly.
Most of my trading is waiting. I risk as much money which doesn't affects me even if I am wrong 10, 20, 50 or even 100 times continuously!
The trades that I take already have a higher probability of success owing to tested astrological datapoints. Frankly, astrological datapoints are very very precise in my experience over all these years. It gives a good tentative and probable dates. Balancing astrological datapoints with right money management, risk management and discipline can award freedom! Risk and money management is most most important pillar of trading.
The beauty about astrology and right disciplined trades is that even if you just have a rough tentative direction, you can be consistently profitable. Manage the greed, risk and money management, and be there for a long run with green P&L!
It's about keeping controllables in control:
- Risk
- Money management
- Patience
- Conviction in the system
I've spent thousands of hours studying the last 10+ years market data with astrological transits and this core study has allowed me to build that conviction.
It has required super hardwork and lots of hits, trials, big losses, bigger profits and years of journey to get it aligned.
I've studied other technical analysis like moving average, RSI, balance sheet, EBITDA, etc. and other macro and micro economic factors that all of us in markets at some point of time do study, but let's be honest, they are mostly lagging indicators.
It reflects mostly afterwards the outcome has happened. In my humble study, astrology gives the super unfair edge of having a high probable tentative datapoint prior!
For traders, TIMING is important!
And if you're looking for shortcuts or a cash printing machine, this is the wrong place.
I'm not here to hype anything. Please take it all for educational purposes only.
