How to deal with people around us who don’t believe in god?

Note: This post might not be for non-devotees or who are aggressive against seekers who practice spirituality.

There are people who say and think that "I don't believe in any god and kinds of stuff."

Rasika Acharyas say that association of such people is very dangerous.

Exalted saints have mentioned time and again that it's better to live in hell, rather than to get such cruel and bad association.

We won't think here that it is Krishna only coming in a non-devotee form to test us. We will straight away deny associating with such people, and especially at new stages or in the initial journey of our spiritual life.

Wherever our Lord and acharyas are disrespected, we won't stay there, won't talk, won't exchange even a second of eye contact and will stay away in totality.

Not that we will allow them to come and sit near us thinking that Krishna is within him or her also.

They might be Krishna coming in weird form, but our mood should be "Hey my dear Lord. I won't stay with your this form who is abusing or disrespecting the form that I worship You in."

This is a Vaishnav Siddhanta.

Srila Rupa Goswami also writes this in The Nectar of Instruction. Don't associate with such people or else your mind will get adulterated. You will leave bhajan (spiritual life) and lose faith by associating with such people.

Without knowing the true tattva, there might be some people that you encounter in your life who will say that spirituality is all bogus and pandit earn money via this. Though there is 90% adulteration in name of religion in the external world today (which actually don't symbolise real devotional path), the sincere seekers will find a way by sincerely chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

This is the power that Mahaprabhu has given in Hare Krishna Mahamantra. (If Sri Radha inspires you, do read the inner confidential meaning of Hare Krishna Mahamantra here and advance gradually in vraja-prema-bhakti).

Already our mind is hankering for material non-sense, and if such bad association encourages us, we will fall down totally.

If you be with people who say that all the Vedic knowledge and saints are bad, then the mind will get the strength to enjoy materially and will leave this path of bhajan (devotional life). Read the happiness in the mode of goodness here (as mentioned in Bhagavad Gita) to understand how devotional life is happiness in the mode of goodness wherein initially, it seems like poison but is nectar at the end.

We should be cautious and not associate with negative people. Don't stay in association with such people, even if they seem to at an apparent respected or higher position for the outside world.

Devrishi Narada says to just stay away from their association at all.

Read Advanced Spirituality Guide here to smartly bypass all material dealings and grow 1000x spiritually.
